What the supplied site does not collect
The supplied production build has no account system, email capture, advertising script, analytics tracker or device-location request. The checker does not send the city or ZIP you type to a geocoding service.
Location input stays in your browser
City/state and ZIP interpretation is performed locally in JavaScript. ZIP codes are used only to infer a broad U.S. state/region. The tool does not validate a street address or determine an exact position.
Browser storage and share links
The checker stores the most recent form values in sessionStorage so the form can survive a refresh during the same browser session. This storage is normally removed when the browser session ends. Shareable results use the URL fragment (the part after #), which browsers do not send in the normal HTTP request to the server. Do not put sensitive personal information into the location field.
Cookies
This build does not set non-essential cookies and includes no cookie-consent banner because there is nothing optional to consent to. See the Cookie Policy for details.
Hosting logs
The hosting and network provider may process ordinary technical request data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamps for security, reliability and abuse prevention. Those logs are controlled by the hosting provider under its own terms and policies.
Future analytics, ads or affiliates
If analytics, advertising, affiliate tracking, email capture or other third-party technologies are added later, this policy and the cookie/consent implementation must be updated before they are enabled where required.
Current build: no analytics, ads, affiliate tracking, account system, email capture or third-party location lookup is included.
